With a redundant attic space, JLArchitecture was approached by the homeowners to transform a dark and dusty space into a luxury Master Ensuite Bedroom with a walk in dressing room.

Taking advantage of the generous existing attic space, a design was established to maximise the space under Permitted Development application.  The result was a full width dormer with French doors and various rooflights to bring as much natural light into the space as possible.

A rooflight was also added above the new staircase to flood the stairwell with natural flood.
