Mill Hill, Barnet
JLArchitecture designed a new double storey rear extension and a loft conversion to rejuvenate a dated 1903’s semi detached property in a sought after area of Mill Hill, North London to create new family and living spaces.
The primary objective of the project brief was to develop additional space by submitting a planning application to the local authority for approval. The scheme that was approved involved a double storey extension with a roof canopy cladded in zinc and a loft conversion cladded in zinc to match the ground floor roof feature.
Internally, the rooms were reconfigured on all levels of the property which includes a new extension with bifold doors and a oriel window seat, new utility room, play room, a new Master Ensuite Bedroom with a vaulted ceiling, additional bedrooms and bathrooms.
In addition to the new spaces, the external wall of the property was rendered to give a new fresh outlook.
