The project at Yewlands involved a major transformation of the ground floor level by reconfiguring the layout to suit the needs of the client to introduce a central open plan living/kitchen and dining area where family and friends can gather in one space.

Working very closely with our Interior Designers, Zophia Scarlett Interiors, other parts of the property was also refurbsihed.  The Master Bedroom was also remodelled to accommodate a newly refurbished ensuite and a new walk in dressing room.  Other bedrooms and all bathroom/ensuites were upgraded.

With redundant hallways and a modest kitchen on the original plan, the brief from the client was to utilise and maximise the potential of the space whilst also to improve the views out onto the garden and the canal beyond.

In close collaboration with our clients the design resulted in a new games/gym room, a large open plan kitchen/dining and lounge space and a newly refurbished formal living area.

As part of the development, the former extension was demolished for a new black timber and zinc cladded extension with high level clerestory windows to give the extension a distinct character against the original brick structure.
