A project based in the conservation area of Chiswick, West London JLArchitecture were commissioned to remodel this property and to rearrange the internal layout to be more conducive and ensure the functionality of the layout works for the homeowners.  With some of the existing rooms lacking in natural daylight caused by the various internal partition walls and the lounge being positioned in the centre of the house deprived of sunlight, the brief from the clients were to reimagine the space to create more light filled rooms for dining and entertaining. 

Following various design layouts, the final plan involved a separate front lounge, a new open plan kitchen/dining space leading into a utility and a new shower room.

A new loft conversion was also created to accommodate a new ensuite bedroom.

Already with an existing side and rear extension, these were rebuilt to comply to current building regulation standards and improved insulation.
