A wonderful project to be involved with, saw overhaul of a fairly substantial detached family home in Brentwood, Essex for our outgoing client.

The project requirement was to modernise a dated looking property into a contemporary family home and to add additional floor space to maximise the space.

Through a detailed initial design exercise, the result of the design entailed connecting the existing garage to the main house with an annexe and shower, a ground floor rear extension cladded in red cedar timber cladding with a roof terrace.  The external envelope of the property was externally insulated, rendering over the existing brockwork and the former weather boarding was replaced with red cedar cladding.  

The existing front porch was also rebuilt and cladded in a black composite cladding to give a bold entrance.

Overall, the house at Lakeside Crescent was redesigned to with modern materials and new spaces added to give a contemporary appearance whilst offering additional family and living spaces.
