A comprehensive planning application was submitted to The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea for a proposed basement extension under a substantial terraced house off King Street, Chelsea.  The basement under the footprint of the house, front garden and the rear garden accommodates a utility room, large family/media room and a guest bedroom with an ensuite shower and a walk-in robe.


The basement under the house was excavated to provide a 3m internal finished ceiling height to reflect similar ceiling heights on the upper floors of the property.
